Is cable buddy any good to keep steering from freezing up due to salt water? Has anyone used cable buddy? Does it work?

I've used the cable buddy with yamaha blue grease since 2006. Works well.

Remove cable from the motor and throughly clean and lube the steering tube before installing

Steering still nice and slippery after a year of use, saltwater doesn't seem to faze it at all! I give cable buddy a 100% positive review

Cable Buddy Update

Been awhile since I posted about my cable buddy installation - some years in fact , update : still works good keeping steering from freezing up during storage, after countless hours of salt water boating, and only half thru the first bottle of oil!
