cable ends

I have recently converted a ski boat.From remote control to foot pedel throttle ,the only problem is that i need the barrel ends soldered or remolded onto the cable once it is cut to lenght the cable im using is something like a bicycle brake cable does any one know who would do this ..I have tried bike shops no luck.. thanks

Throttle cables are ordered to a specific length, not cut to length. <br /><br />When we convert one as you did we usually leave the old throttle cable connected in the hand control and tuck it away in the back of the boat. Then run a new cable for the foot control. That way its a very simple swap back and forth if needed. The foot control cable is usually longer anyway.
