Cable replacement needed ... order cable only, or the whole package (cable, helm & bezel)
Cable that came out of boat is marked "SSC13418", easy enough find a new cable.
The boat is a 1986 and I'm not sure if the helm has ever been replaced.
An entire SeaStar kit w/ helm, steering cable and bezel is $23 more than the cable alone. However if I purchase the cable and later find out I need to replace the helm & bezel it's going to cost more than that.
Should I get the whole package (cable, helm, bezel) or is there a someway to check the existing helm to be assured that just a replacement cable will bolt up directly to it?
