Hi ya Castaway! Just a word of caution, be careful driving around in that pretty new Red Truck! Satisticly speaking, more tickets are written to RED vehicles than any other color .<br /><br />Sorry bud, couldn't help it! that was the very first thought I had about the red truck, lol<br /><br />but the black one looked dowdy, and black gets ticketed a lot too, go figure<br /><br />but this aint a 4.3, its a 2.2<br /><br />by the time I get to illegal speeds, Ill be where I gots to go!!!!<br /><br />lol

Castaway, what does Dowdy mean? I think Black trucks are the prettiest color on the road, when they are clean. One mud puddle can ruin all that, though. Also Down South here, Black is too dad-blamed hot in the Summer! Better have a kicking Air Conditioner in it, no matter what color it is. In fact I now have 2 white trucks, and my next Dodge Dually will be white or Silver.<br />White seems to hide road film, dirt and grime, much better than the darker colors, and helps the A/C work. <br /><br />I understand the 2.2 won't be a speed demon, just didn't realize that many folks know that statistics have shown red is the most ticketed color. I should have known you smart folks here on iboats, were privy to that information. <br /><br />Anyway, hope you get much enjoyment out of your new HOT rod! <br /><br />GodsBeast

dowdy is well, in the s-10s case, too plain looking, almost drab ... now certain vehicles look really GOOD in black - hearses, goon mobiles and highly chromed up vehicles - custom jobs look good in black too<br /><br />I had my choice between a black one and a red one, the red one was a moving violation due to its color, as per the content of this thread, which spun my gears toward the black truck, but it was unappealing to me, the red one SCREAMED at me (**** alarms! )<br /><br />but thats just me<br /><br />
