iboats Lake Griffin Camp Out. May 15,16, 17, 2009
Well it is 2 weeks away.
Everything on my end is ready. We are going to have a great turn out. +- 60 people. Most camping, some in the Motel, and a lot of Locals commuting from home each day.
The Saturday lunch is going to be provided by iboats.com. door prizes have been donated my many other manufacturers
Iboats.com is going to be represented by Mr Steven Denton, sales manager. engines and engine parts.
The first 3 boats to check in, with Nauticus Smart Tads, gets $50.00 each.
Remember boats can stay at the camp overnight, also see me for a iboats pass, for your windshield.
Unfortunately it looks like there will be a burn ban in effect. So no campfires, but propane stoves and charcoal grills are fine.
Also, we are going to discuss, having more of these, I personally like the idea of an annual event. Also we need to look at locations. I think, public areas are going to be the least expensive, but there are some private establishments, that will accommodate us, due to the size of the gathering.
Also there is a Walmart, and all the urban facilities very convenient.
If we have low water ramp conditions for the pontoons and larger boats, we will caravan to one of the other near ramps.
I hope to arrive by 1:00 PM, Friday.
See you all there.
