No one has to tell me im underpowered, I know this. My question is ....Can it be modified to produce more? And how much is enough $$$, and what can be done with enough $$$?

The simple solution is to sell the 25 and get a larger motor.... Probably a cheaper solution in the long run, too...

With enough money you can certainly get more power. But just like race engines, reliability goes down ddramatically. Cam, compression, carburetion (or EFI) are the three "C's" for performance increase in a four stroke engine. Changing only one generally produces very small increases in power. You really need to modify all three. In the end, you end up with a more powerful engine but have spend a boat load of money and you now have an engine that can't run at slow speeds. The advice you have received is valid. Sell the motor and by bigger. Look at the capacity plate on the boat. For acceptable performance you ALWAYS should install an engine that is no less than 70% of that figure. Some manufactdurers and dealers underpower their boats for one reason only -- price.
