I have been trying to find out where i have lost my rpms aprox 800-900. After completely rueling out the fuel system i started looking at the electrial. i have found the following
1st
All of the coils fire fine when hooked up to my cdi spark checker, but when i ohm them i find that #5 has no resist. The rest of the test around the same 4.39-4.42

2nd
While testing running today i noticed a voltage spike up around 17 volts on the fish finder and then it blew the fuse
While looking into this i found the ground was loose on the retificer/regulator. Could this have caused the coil to go bad could this cause the voltage spike
Would the one coll that is not ohming out be the probkem with the rpms???
What else could a loose ground on the reg/reticfier mess up??????
Thanks for yalls help
