That's a good size (not to mention expensive) yacht. I bet it was pretty cool to see in person!

Could you imagine see that thing coming down an area lake boat ramp!

Not your typical "day boat" is it !!
Imagine a line up of them at the local ramp !!!

Well..

The cab of the semi is half the size of my pack of cigs...

I estimate the cab (from sleeper to grill) is 12 ft??

Comparing the measurement on the cigs against the boat..it is 36 feet, not including the swimstep.

I can comfortably say with this exact scientific measuring device (non calibrated though) that she is 40 ftr including the swimstep! lol:D

The reefer trailer on the back side of it is 53' long and 13'6" high. Just to add a perspective to the photo.
They do run 14' tall trailers in the western states, but not very many are reefers. So im sticking with 13'6".

We see boats like that in our marina all the time. The part that gets under my skin is the fact they usually have a smaller boat on the back that,s still bigger than my boat.

i love that yachts thats "tenders" are 16' whalers with 100 hp.
most people would love to just have the tender as their main boat

I wouldn't want to gas it up with $4.50/gallon gas like last year   It would probably cost as much as what I paid for my house!

We are across from a public ramp and a couple times a year we watch off shore type racing boats launch, several of which are about as long as that cruiser.

Just this week we watch a semi rig haul down and launch a boat lift that was over 30 feet long (SWAG as to length).

this thing is still at the truck stop.....I have a feeling his permits dont let him transport on weekends, alot are like that for oversized loads.

Let me just go out into my driveway and measure it- NOT. Though I only know what the cheap stuff tastes like, I would like to offer my services as the assistant beer inspector! Likely nothing but top shelf stuff in the fridge on this boat!

Heck I'm not greedy I don't need a brand new 40' Searay, I would settle for one that is 20 years old.

Yup, those things are impressive when on a trailer.

I'm thinkin it's about 48 to 50 feet long. The trailer in the background is a 53'. The truck also has oversize signs on it.

I think it'd be best here at my house where there's no truck traffic to hurt it.:D
