Re: Can a power pack be tested off the motor?
While anything can be done with some effort, it is difficult to test a power pack off the engine, as it require a source voltage, trigger voltage and an appropriate load. Simple ohmmeter tests can be performed while off of the engine, but the results are not definitive. Some manufacturers make a specific test module to check stand alone power-packs, but its not feasible to purchase for just personal use....
