I inherited this motor. Id love to restore it, but I dont know ANYTHING about it. I cant find any of these tag numbers on any Evinrude websites. Ive removed and cleaned the gas tank, and got new plugs. Slowly going through the motor discovering things and cleaning. I will post more pictures soon. I only had this pic on my phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated. What year, what power, where to find parts. I have alot of small engine experience but this is the first outboard Ive ever owned. Thanks!

...and from the serial # 07065, it's a 1946 vintage (serial # range 05001 - 10,000).

The impeller is virtually indestructible.(metal).I will search around ,I have the owners manual and have owned a 1939 since around 2010 or so.

Ive started the tear down and haven't had many troubles yet (knocking wood) . Front cover and carburetor came off and cleaned up nicely. I didn't open the carb for fear of gasket availability. But, it seems to be OK. Of course I wont know until the motor starts. Primer and throttle seem to function well. Tonight will be the flywheel. The plug wires are in bad shape, hopefully that is the extent of bad news. Thank you again for everyone's help! Im having a great time with it.
