can anyone ID this trailer?

Hi and Merry Christmas
This is a trailer I need parts for, there is no VIN number on it. The square aluminum fenders have EZ loader decals but the registration papers from the previous owner says it is a Tru-Line. It carries my 1974 Silverline Antigua 18T / Mercruiser 888 188hp.
I think it is about a 1974 as that is the year of the boat. Can't find any reference to old EZ Loaders on the internet.

That looks like a home built trailer fitted with E Z Loader fenders., axle, axle carrier and roller assemblies.. Look at the difference in the winch post, bow stop, and main frame. The original frame probably rusted beyond repair OR did not fit the boat he wanted to store on it. So it appears that a couple of lengths of straight rectangular tubing was fabricated into a new frame.

Photos show an E Z Loader from which I have removed the rollers and added bunks. Note the professionally bent main frame.

While the winch post is different, I have another E Z with the same winch post as yours.

What parts do you need? The frame appears solid. Axles, bearings, wheels, coupler, and lights are all standard and you need not know the exact model to buy them. The rollers are old school but again, newer rollers could be retro-fitted without knowing the trailer make.

What kind of parts are you looking for? In most cases, other than the frame, the rest of the parts are usually off the shelf items.

It looks like a 1972 EzLoader. The VIN will be stamped on the left front part of the frame, there should also be a metal id plate on the left front of the "Y" frame with the GVWR. The VIN will look like 300353. You can call EzLoader in Spokane, WA (509) 489-0181 but they will tell you they don't have any parts for something over 40 years old. A new EzLoader trailer like that is only about $2,500.

Actually I really wanted the ID to find out the capacity, the main frame rails look bent from overweight but then when i got the boat it probably had a ton of waterlogged flotation foam in it, that may have been the cause. Then I wondered if if is heavy enough for this boat - over 2400 lbs. I was thinking of adding another axle to it.
Anyway thanks for the info, every little bit helps and I would prefer to keep the old trailer since the boat is an antique.

Ayuh,.... The simple answer is,.... Measure the axle quill diameters,....

The axle ratin' is easy to figure out, 'n the trailer can't haul more than the axle can carry,...

ok and what diameter carries what load? Are axles the same now as they were 40 years ago as far as diameter vs. load?
