Can anyone identify this jet drive?

Hi all, newb to the forum, but already done a lot of reading on some amazing restos and learning loads

I've just bought a Dateline Striker II (indistinguishable from a Bikini from what I can see) which has a 2.0 Pinto attached to this jet drive:

I can't find any identifying marks on it anywhere, nor can I find anything similar on this or any other forum or Google Does anyone know what it is please?

This is the boat it's in:

No idea what date it is - guessing early 80s maybe?

Don't know anymore here than on Vintage jet boats. Not an eliminator drive, nor a bueler turbocraft. A lot of off the wall brands. My eliminator is actually a good drive. Check on the inspection cover or on the pump just behind the engine. My berkeley has a tag right behind the engine too.

Forgot to say, good luck finding out about it. It's taken me over 2 1/2 years at both sites and while I'm finding out more, still would like to learn more. Let us know what you find out.

Thanks for the reply Turns out its a West End Marine unit which is the predecessor to the more well-known PP65. Slight cosmetic differences, but it takes the same impeller which is good news. I actually found out from a prop repair specialist in the end! West End Marine are only 10 miles from my office so I will go and see them next week :happy:

(the drive also dates the boat to the early 70s I think)

Congrats, at least they are still in business. There's a lot of good things about older drives. If you have a supplier pf parts (mine has to be made at a machine shop), and a repair manual, or at least someone who knows something about them. In 2 1/2 years, I've found 7 people who have drives like mine (eliminator) and most are real happy with them. Good luck with it, and let us know how things turn out.
