Can fuel stabilizer be used during routine engine use? Getting ready for winter.

Last year I had to pull my boat with little notice fom my marina and wasn't able to run stabilizer through the engine as I had wanted to. I have about a month left before I pull it out and I may use it alot or a little, depending on work schedule. Is it ok to run stabilizer during routine engine use, or does it have any bad side effects if used for extended periods? I just want to really get the stabilized fuel into the engine this year. thanks. Pat

Yeah, it's fine to run as long as you want. Some people put it in every tank.

Won't hurt it at all. You may notice that a lot of manufacturers of equipment that typically dosn't use a lot of gas [like string trimmers] recommend adding it to the fuel can full time.

I've always used it, especially in 'end of season' tanks, and haven't noticed ill effects. As my outboards don't get used a lot I figure it's important.

I use it every tank full, so far no carb issues.

I've always used it all the time for my sailboat auxiliary since I never new how often I would use it. Never had any problems w/ carb, except new O rings after about 10 years.
