Can i put a Power Trim Tilt System Unit For Yamaha V4 onto omc v4

Hi folks newbie here been reading for a few months so i thought time to join.
I have a bust tilt trim motor and possibly the rest of the Power Trim system as it is rusted through. There is someone selling a Power Trim Tilt system for a Yamaha V4 will it fit on my OMC V4 ?

and no. two completely different sytems the oil may be all that interchanges

I think i will strip mine down and see if i can find a rebuild kit.

they all look similar, most people copy other peoples design concepts. the OMC unit was designed in waukegan illinois and built in either Milwaukee WI or Calhoun GA, the yamaha unit was designed and built in Fukuroi City Japan

The OMC unit (not Fastrac) along with Suzuki were/are made by Showa.......

Don't take this personally, but that's sort of like asking if the door from an unknown year Ford will fit on an equally unknown year Chevy. There are instances where parts from one manufacturer can fit another manufacturer but this isn't one of them.
