Re: Can I recalibrate my Suzuki tachometer?
Upinsmoke,

I wish it was over reving, Then I'd be able to go faster than currently if I propped up. Right now it is 30 mph on a 13 pitch SS prop, assuming 6% slip, 2.1 ratio at WOT that puts the motor rpms somewhere around 5500 rpms. The motor is designed to run 5600 rpms tops. The boat wasn't supposed to go too much faster I would think. The total weight is probably 800 lbs roughly. Its a shallow V hull 13' rib.
