The model after mine has the buzzer and fitting for the sensor. I ain't got nuttin' to fit a sensor to the cylinder or block.

I know the usual place for temp sensor is in block or head, on cars anyway, but could I fit an inline sensor in the rubber tube on the outlet side of the cylinders? Or won't it work because the water flow isn't enough to give a steady reading?

Probably doesn't matter if reading isn't correct temp. I just want to know if it goes up beyond whatever is established as the normal range.

teleflex makes an external cyl. head temp gauge kit that mounts under one of the head bolts and the sender rests on the cyl. head. very accurate.
