Can I tow this with my Durango 4x4 Hemi? 5.7L One axle has good brakes.

You may need to add a little extra air pressure to the rear tires. But it would be a he** of a ride!!!

Thats what the dealer told me..

Only problem is the brakes lock up when I back up. When I get to the ramp it wont back down.

nope. You might be able to move it, but it won't stop even with brakes. It will push you right through in intersection unless you have a couple of blocks to slow it down. I wouldn't tow it down my driveway with anything less than a tractor trailer.

I have a 04 hemi durango 4x4 that my tow cap is 9800 lbs, pulls 5k like nothing is on there, but that rig doesn't look safe to move 10 feet, if you try make sure the camera is rolling and insurance policy is confirmed to date

post it if you do it as i'm sure we would all love to see it

when I saw the heading I was going to make a comment about gas milage. After seeing the boat, I bet a gallon or so would be all you needed to move the 3-4 hundred yards it would take to for the boat to take over. Any more than that would just add to the fireball.

You were wrong!! The suspension handled it prefectly. But when I stopped for an ambulance it didn't stop kinda pushed me around a little. Put a little dent in the Durango. -- I think I figgured out the braking thing.. just need to start stopping waaaaayy early. See Picture


But I'm not afraid! Next week its off to the mountains!
