Can i use a 60/90hp lower unite, on my 1975 johnson 75hp

Having a hard time finding an exact match to replace my lower unite.
It's a johnson 1975 75hp stinger.
I've heard somewhere That the 60hp and the 90hp lower unites are similar and would fit the 75hp.

Is this true?

If this is true, this would narrow my search.

No, a V4 unit will not work. You need a unit from a 1973 to 1977 Johnson/Evinrude 65/70/75hp triple...

If your motor is a 15-inch, then you need a unit from a 75hp 15-inch - it's unique to the short shaft Stingers/Hustlers...
