Can I use gasket making cement, carburetors were

I've clean my carburetors I'm Ready to install. Can I use a gasket cemente. Or do I have to buy the gaskets . That originally came with the motor

Yes. Not worth the chance of vacuum leaks. Gasket not goop would be my choice. In my mind for the little a gasket would cost not worth the cost of the short cut.
