Hello!
I got a 1994 Mercury 150 XR6 and I have 2 New CDI rectifires.
Now the are both wired to charge the main starting battery.
My other 2 troll batteries are not being charged .
So I was just wandering since I have 40A stator can I use one rectifier to charge the main battery and the other to charge the troll batt's?
Does the motor require 40A charging system to run or it can run on 20A only?
My troll motor is a 12/24 motor so I can't connect all three together or I will not get 24v to the troll motor.
Any wiring trick to do this?

Any Ideas or any electronics outhere to do this mod?
Thanks for any advice.

You may be able to do what you described, however, it is not the best way. I would do some research on battery combiners. These are devices that automatically connect batteries together for charging. If you install two of them to connect your three batteries, the motor will automatically charge the starting battery. When that is full it will charge the next battery, and when that is charged, it will charge the third battery. You will be able to charge all your batteries.

BTW, You have twin 20Amp voltage regulators. VRs are much better than rectifiers, since they will not overcharge your batteries.

Easiest way is to disconnect 2nd rect/reg and hook to a Dual Pro charge on the run charger . They make these in 1,2,3 bank systems . I run one on my Junkrude and love it as I have 36v troll motor
The 3 bank is a model CRS3 and2 bank is a CRS2.
