It's almost done raining here in Oregon(I hope) and I'm getting ready to get started sealing and painting my 12ft aluminum seaking. I've decided to gluvit the inside and outside of the seams and rivets. I'm also considering a camo paintjob.
Can I use Napa zincrom #7222 without a topcoat? If it's the color on the cap(tan), it would work well in a camo pattern as is. I could also get moeller or mar pro zinc chromate primer in green and I'd have 2 of the 4 necessary colors taken care of..I'd only need to add brown and black...
This simplicity would also make future repairs easier. The only reasons I can think of not to try it is lead poisoning...or a less durable finish... What do you guys think?
EDIT: Maybe zincrom primer can't handle UV radiation?
