Can my boats electrical system have down riggers.

I have a starcraft with a 70hp Evinrude circa 1989, I am running two marine batteries hooked up to a guest battery switch. My only draw us my lights my fish finder and my gps which runs off the 12v plug.
I want to put electric down riggers on it. Ones that can read temperature at the ball?
Any suggestions as to whether I can or what kind of riggers to buy. I may ly want them for lake Ontario salmon fishing.

Typically with two batteries one would be a deep cycle and the DR's would be connected to it, but you could run them off the second battery even if it's not a DC, just won't last as long or be good for the battery.
