Good day,

I have 2 small outboards mounted on a 14 footer fiber and I like to switch motor occasionaly but I at this time I only have one gas tank and one gas line only ending with a Force type connection. The other OB is an OMC

My question is this : Could I have a T connection at the motor side of the gas line with 2 short gas line connectors coming out of the T one with the Force plug the other with the OMC connection ? Obviously using only one at the time.

Thus when I chance OB temporarely I would only have to deal with motor exchange and use the appropriate connector.

Y'Awl have a great day. (lol)

Don't see why not. I run a similar set up on my Texas Maid with twin OMC 35's...gas tank rides in the bow, fuel line has a primer/pump bulb close to the tank to prime the line to a brass T in the splashwell...each fuel line off the T also has it's own primer bulb, to keep one motor from robbing fuel from the other. Works like a charm and puts weight forward in the boat, where I need it.

Did that with a Merc 115 + an OMC 9.9 ... but both were connected at all times. In this case only one OB would be connected ... the other connector just not being used.

Maybe make yourself an adapter?

Get the engine side fitting from a force OB, then the line fitting for an OMC, and some hose, and bam! adapter.

Sounds good in theory anyway.
