Can someone help me!!?? Lots going wrong.

Hi folks,

I'm new to the forum and become increasingly frustrated. I need some help, knowledge, advice...please. I have a 1999 Yamaha C50TLRX. It has been giving me fits, so I've been tinkering. Can someone tell me what these wires are and if they need to be connected? I broke the screws holding them in place on what seems to be the anode side. I'm running the boat I brackish water.

Also, any tips on getting a stick lower unit off? Lastly, my tilt/trim just clicks when I hit the control, no movement at all.

Looks like electrical ground wires...could be important to operation of motor....do you have a manual for this motor which may help you with details like this. Should be 5 bolts to remove lower unit....one bolt hidden under that zinc trim tab in back.

they are bonding wires to make sure all parts are tied to the anode
if the anode is not connected they are not protecting anything
