I'm looking at all the parts in my 398453 carb repair kit and I can't identify what all of them are.

Here are the ones I can identify:

386149 Float
603145 Clip
382889 Float & Valve seat assy
301996 Gasket
202310 Core Plug
305243 Core Plug
315232 retainer/grommet (for low speed lean/rich adj needle)
319011 float bowl gasket

There are a few more parts in the kit that I am not able to identify from the parts diagram and I can't find a list of all the parts contained in the kit anywhere on the Internet. Can someone please help out and identify the rest for me so I can figure out where they're all supposed to go when I start rebuilding this carb that I'm wanting to rebuild? Thanks.

Go up to parts and accessories, and find a carb diagram for your motor, or try plugging in the part number for your carb kit.

Good advice. ^^^ Sometimes there will be some pieces not needed because the kit may be used for a different carb.

I did that before I posted. That's where I got all the part numbers for the parts I recognized. It doesn't tell you what the part numbers are of all the parts that are in the kit. I know some of the extra parts in the kit may apply to other motors but I'm concerned that maybe one or two of the parts I can't recognize are from the 9.9/15 carbs so I'd like to know what parts are in the kit so I don't miss replacing something that I should be replacing when I rebuild the carb.

Is the one unknown on the right PN number 304201 "Lead Shot"? I can't even hazard a guess as to what the one on the left is if it applies to the 9.9/15 carbs.

The one on the left goes deep into the low speed needle hole, almost like a seat for where the needle's threads end. It is hard to replace and you run the risk of scratching the carb body in the low speed area which may be bad. I'd skip it when rebuilding it and maybe revisit that piece if you have a low speed idle problem.
