Can someone please identify my 120 Force outboard

Hello. I'd appreciate if anyone can give me info on my engine. It is on a 1995 bayliner capri 1800 ls. Just trying to figure out the exact year and model.

The tag on the transom mount looks like it say E121972 but it's really hard to say. I know for a fact it says 121972, but can't exactly identify the first 1 or 2 numbers or letters. Could be 02 or 0E or just E......I hope this makes sense and any help would be appreciated.

Mercury was making the 1995 Force engines and Merc does not give years on later models--just serial number ranges. So, you need to determine what the first two numbers or letters are. Your local Merc dealer should be able to help.
