Can someone tell me the model of a mariner ?

The serial # is 689 S 026616. I have looked at some places and i think its a 85 model but im not sure if i am reading right. Any help would be appreciated. Also i need the whole plastic piece and spring under the pull rope piece. I dont know what the names are to this stuff but the pull rope will not catch when you pull it out. I found some pieces of small metal and broke pieces under the pull rope housing. If anyone knows the name and where i can this piece it would help alot. Thanks for any advise and help.

Any idea of the horsepower, which would help to narrow it down.

I have a 1985 Mariner 40 hp Long Shaft Manual Start that I need to replace the foot oil drain plug on. I see the part isnt available OEM, where could I find one?
