I found this spigot attached to a hose and wondered what it might be used for?

Sorry, it goes to a yellow box that I'm assuming is a pump of some sort.

OK....the hose goes to a pump that is attached to the transom and has an inlet through the transom. I think it's for pumping fresh water into the live wells on the boat. I can't find a switch for it and it looks as if it was put there at the factory, but who knows.
