can this motor charge a battery?

i have a 1998 johnson 35hp pull start outboard.I did notice two wires, yellow and yellow/stripe coming from underneath the flywheel.they are not connected to anywhere.what do i need to do to be able to charge a battery?

You sure it is only two wires? I would have expected three. But if only two, you can get a bridge rectifier from Radio Shack at a very reasonable cost.
