can you add trim button to control box

I have 2 1994 johnson with e start and tilt/trim. I have lined up a johns power pilot control bow with red plug, however it does not have the trim button on the lever. Can I add one to it? I currently have a control box with it and want to match them up for a dual installation. do I have any other options?

There is a kit for the old power pilot which replaced the whole handle, but they are hard to find.

sea-way.com might still have one.

The power pilot is a really old unit, ended in the late 1970's. Most newer units have the switch built in.
