Can you mount a kicker motor on a fiberglass bass boat?

Hello everyone, I’m purchasing a 17ft Glasstream bass boat with a 150hp Merc on it. Most of the lakes in my area are horsepower restricted so I won’t get much use out of the Merc but I don’t want to remove it. I have a little Evinrude 8hp I would like to mount next to it as kicker motor like I’ve seen many of the deep v boats doing, but I don’t think I’ve seen a bass boat doing this. Have any of you seen a bass boat doing this? Is it even possible? If so, how would I do it lol? Thanks for any input.

It is hard to see if you have the room on the side of the engine, for a kicker, from the pictures you posted. I would also be concerned about the weight of the kicker. How much does the transom sink when you stand next to the engine? If is it close to swamping, you have an issue adding the weight of the kicker.
Is that 17' boat rated for that 150HP TOP?

Yes the boat is rated for 150hp, and the transom seems like it would be able to handle the weight but after I’ve looked more at the back of the boat there isn’t really room for a kicker plate lol. Thanks for all of your responses.
