Cannot Identify Unique Gearcase Extension

I've looked at hundreds of extensions but cannot see one with inlet (or outlet) ports built into it. Everything about it looks like a conventional J/E extension but nothing like this one. I could not find any identifying numbers either.

Just looks like a 9.9 / 15 HP extension that was owned by someone who works in a machine shop.-----More noise = more speed.

Part of reverse thrust kit for 9.9/15 used on sailboats

Thank you. I did see a notation on a supply site for a sailboat extension option but could find no illustrations for it. I appreciate all the feedback. Thank you very much.

Glad you posted -- don't recall seeing that before. But looks like a regular 5" extension, not the longer version on sailboat models. Maybe an option though, over the longer extension.

I do not believe those holes were put in at the factory on the part shown in these pictures.

My Yachtwin has exhaust outlets in the extension . The normal outlet above the prop is plugged

Correct a NEAT hole to prevent exhaust in the prop for reverse.
