I cannot tilt my motor manually. I normally tilt it up and place the locking brackets with the transom saver under the unit for traveling. I brlke the lever on the right and now cannot raise the motor. Need help.

You need to replace the broken lever. But for now, undo the end of the cable near the lever and see if you can pull it to move the ram.

Sloppy, it is a 1992 Johnson, TE40ELENM, Iit does not have power tilt/trim.
I cannot find an explosion view on a parts list from iShopMarine.com. I was looking for this lever.

That model number comes up as an Evinrude, not that it really matters. Here an exploded view. Looks like #98(KNOB, Tilt and reverse lock) and related parts is what your after...

Thanks for that exploded view. Now how do I remover the lever on the right side that unlocks to motor so it will tilt?
