Cannot Trim Up while Underway on Plane

The trim works both out/up and in/down while on the trailer or idling in gear. The problem is the trim will not trim out while on plane. The motor is running but no movement of the trim cyclinders. After reading Manual 06 I think I may have found what I need to replace. I'm just not sure and before I spend any money I would like to get advice/help first.

As a side note the Trim Sender & Switch does not work and was bypassed by PO and we drive the boat by Seat of the Pants feel. May replace them during the winter.

I've had this issue myself. Have you tried with a different battery?

I think my problem is my old worn-out deep cycle that just ran out of juice for the demand.

If it works sitting on the trailer then it's an issue of not enough power to lift while under power. Maybe try that before spending cash on parts?

Just a guess of hydrualics, your rams don't have the power to fight the force of the prop. Leaking by or the pump is weak. Never had this problem with any of the boats that I work on.

I was thinking it was the Up Pressure Relief valve PN# 95351A1 along with a possible leak in one of the cyclinders. This is what I got when reading the troubleshooting section of the OEM Manual. I just wanted to make sure before I spend money on the Valve and Oring kit for the cyclinder.
