Can't determine correct OMC Cobra manual

I have a 1990 Citation boat with an OMC Cobra stern drive powered by a Chevy 4.3L/2 barrel/V6 engine. I am trying to find the original OMC manual for my stern drive. There seems to be plenty of OMC manuals from 1986, 87 and 89, but I haven't even scene one from 1990. Can these year's manauls (i.e., 87, 89) suffice for my 1990 I/O? BTW, I bought the Seloc manual but wasn't too pleased. <br /><br />Also, I noticed that the manuals appear to have part numbers. Does anyone know the part number associated with my drive/engine? <br /><br />This is my first ever post on a message board, so if I screwed up on something, let me know. <br /><br />Thanks

First of all see if you can find the engine model number which will tell us the year for sure. (Should be on a plate probably on one of the rocker covers) Sometimes dealers put the previous years engines in boats if they have left over stock and it's early in the model year for the boat. Your number should start with a 432 43 is engine size and 2 is the carb. However if yours is truly a 1990 then eBay is the place and here is a link to a 1990 OMC manual, you can't beat the original factory manual! 1990 OMC Manual
