I didn't want to post a new question for this and take up space, but my brother and I have been scowering the internet for hours trying to figure out which tilt/trim sender I'm supposed to get. Like a dummy I thought all I had to do was order the trim guage, plug it into the motor, and voila!!!
Turns out i need the other end of it. My model is c40ELPTO. Every time we find sending units, there are 4 different ones, and it doesn't clearly specify (at least for us "non-mechanics) which is the exact version/model to choose. I really am lost and again sorry for such a probably simple question, but if someone can give me the correct part number for what I need, I would appreciate it. Again, i have the guage, just need everything else. Thanks everyone.
