Can't find a prop for Johnson...

1979 Johnson Seahorse 4 h.p.<br />Modle # 4w79d<br />Im looking for a new 3 blade prop? I tried iboats but they dont seem to have anyhthing for an outboard that small. I have a 2 blade now but it doesnt seem to be doing very well. motor is on a 12' flat bottom aluminum jon boat. me, boat, and equipment would weigh around 450 to 500 lbs. any help would be great.<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Suzuki40

There is no prop for this motor that I can find on that sight. Its like the years 1974 thru 1979 are not listed for this motor? I need a three blade prop if there is such a thing? I live way in the sticks and called the closest boat repair shop. They said they couldnt find one for that motor either. This is a simple 1979 boat motor. Props on eBay all the time... Generally quite cheap. You're looking for the 3-blade, plastic prop with the cotter pin that holds it on the propshaft - correct? I bought one for my motor awhile back for under $10.00!<br />- Scott
