Can't find my motor identity

I just purchased a used supposedly 15HP Mercury, but all the vinyl stickers are gone off the hood. The serial number is: OB164041
I can't find that serial number under the 15HP listings on any of your links at the top of the page, but I can go to US Boat Supply and look up parts for a 15 HP with my serial number. I just would like to confirm the year model. Can anyone help?

well it takes me to the parts for 6/8/9.9/15 HP and gives me a subcode, (1010206) but still does not tell me what HP or year. I emailed them maybe they will answer.

thanks fella's for the help. Mercury parts express emailed todat to say my motor is a 1986 9.9HP...........ohh well
