1981 Johnson 35 hp. Salt Water usage, but outside of engine not overly rusty. Took off 4 gearcase to housing screws, took off water intake screens which gave me acess to remove shift rod screw, which I did.Took off front gearcase nut( THIS IS WHERE THE PROBLEM IS) Lower unit should be free but will not drop down. put nut back on tried to drive chisel between the top of nut and bumper mount housing to force it down still no luck. Housing seems to be stuck on that stud. Should I use Mapp Gas Torch on it? to try and break free any corrusion or should I just BITE THE BULLET and take it to a shop
