cant get the prop off help

hello there friends i have a small problem i have fishing wire stuck under the prop and i cant get the prop off the screw which is a flat head wont turn regardless of what i do so what are your suggestions<br />its a motorguide 36 lb trolling motor <br />the prop is a doug hannon replacement prop #KF124 -01 ninja 4 blade prop suggstions

It's not the screw that you have to turn, it's the plastic "wing nut" type of deal... It's like a plastic washer with two tabs on it,and it kind of looks like its part of the prop, only way I can describe it..<br /><br />Hold the prop (disconnect the motor from the battery first ) and turn the nut.. Might need a pair of pliers to turn it...

thanks snapper that fixed it
