Cant Kill Engine

hi all i finally got my 90hp johnson v4 1990 started after fitting a new set of rings it has been a while since i stripped it down and have a long green wire with a round bolt on connecter and i cant remember where it goes manual is no help!also since refitting it wont switch off from the key i have to flood it with the choke to kill the motor any ideas where the wire goes and if its related to the kill switch? many thanks for any help!!

black wire with yellow tracer is kill wire.

The only green wire I see runs between the power pack and timer base. But who's to say that I am looking at the right diagram? Maybe not.

So, did it fix the problem. Does the engine shut off now...
