Cant seam to find hindges

Does anyone know where i can find hinges for seats in a bass boat? The bottom portion of my seats fold up to reveal storage compartments and i need to replace the hinges they are 4" wide and 9" long. Ive looked every where including here at Iboats. I did find one place that would custom make them at the price of $55.00 each. ouch.

Try veada.com, they sell many seat components.

iboats sells piano hinges in various lengths ....... but the 4" width is thowing me...... look in the iboats store and search for hinges <<< proper spelling

Thanks for the reply, I tried Veada.com and even gave them a call closest they can come is a 13 1/2" hinge. Cant find them here on Iboats either. I do have a call into Nitro bass boats parts department and am waiting for a call back from them.

You purchase a long one and cut to length with a hacksaw oe a sawsall

I have thought about doing that as a last resort. Wouldn't the rod that holds the two hinge sides together be able to vibrate out? I guess i could try to flair them out a tad bit. If Nitro doesn't have an exact replacement ill order from Iboats.

No the rod will stay in place when it is cut.
