I'm a new owner of a 01 trophy which has the somewhat tall canvas top..the front has three vinyl windows which adds somewhat to wind resistance above the glass windows but is it enough to cause problems at highway speed?

Also, the vinyl windows are wrinkled..will they eventuallty flatten out?

I don't leave mine up for travelling, but it handles 45 - 48 mph on the water okay. My brother in law used to travel with his up, but it was just a convertible top with no windows, not a stand up top.

I would leave your top on in some hot sunlight to help soften the wrinkles.

Thanks..I'll take your advice and put it down on the highway and letting the sun soften the wrinkles seems to be working, I don't think the top was ever used.

BTW, your avatar shows a very pretty trophy..my 01 is midnight blue pearl with gold pearl lower

Do you have any idea how much drag (vacuum, actually) is produced when travelling with the top up? Save wear and tear AND gas. Put the top down!
