Re: canvas

actually leave it installed and covered, that way it doesn't shrink.

Re: canvas

Why is that not an option? Seems like the shrink wrap or exterior tarp could go over the canvas cover without an issue. I store mine outside with a full mooring cover only, and it has held up well to the elements. I have to beat the snow off it periodically, but it keeps the weather out and stands up well. Is there a pole stand that would be in the way if the cover was installed?

Re: canvas

the boat is going indoors and has to be either shrink wrapped or the mooring cover be used per company policy.

If it's not an option, and you can't put your canvas on, then have it shrink wrapped or a mooring cover put on, then what you may need to do is put all your canvas on, then put some stitching treatment on there to keeps those from dry rotting on you (found in the camping section of stores) and then buy a spray canvas treater. Apply the treater with the canvas on, let it dry all the way. If possible, fold up the canvas real good and vacuum pack it. Then in the Spring, you may want to lightly dampen the canvas so it will stretch a bit and put it back on.
