Does canvas shrink during winter storage?<br /><br />I installed my bimini top this w/e after being stored for the winter.<br /><br />Boy was it a tight fit!<br /><br />Hope the eisenglass goes on easier..........<br /><br />Any tips on making the installation easier?

Was it a litle cold out? Try getting the canvas hot first.

And yes... canvas can shrink a little. Did you put it away a little moist last year?

Wasn't too warm out.........~60 yesterday.<br /><br />And probably was a little damp when I put it away.<br /><br />Will it stretch back out?

It usually does Tony,....<br /><br />It sometimes takes alittle Tugging,+ Pulling,.... <br />But with the Wind, Rain,+ Time,.... it'll lay back down where it Belongs.......<br /><br />The Sun will be your Friend when reinstalling the Windows as Well.......<br />You might try spreading them out on the hood of your vehicle for a time in the Sun,.... Just before you install them.......
