cap and rotor

hi guys i changed my distributor cap and rotor and also my spark plugs but now my boat doesnt want to idle as good as it did before its kinda sputtering so my question is does anyone have any ideas what could cause this? also would someone post the firing order for the distributor its an volvo aq271 which is a 350 chevy thanks in advance!!

I'd be looking at my plug wires...make sure that you 'seated' them firmly in the new cap.

I would also make sure that you didn't damage any of the wires, when you 'pulled' them off the old plugs. This is all too common, when they are stubborn to remove....

Lastly...are you sure that you didn't get any 'crossed'?

Ayuh,... It really don't matter, but I usually start with #1....
