About a year ago I purchased a 22 ft Sea Sport with a Volvo diesel (AD 31 DP). Last week I had a belt break resulting in overheating. I noticed the problem (didn't hear a warning buzzer so that another story) and shut it down. After the steam cleared I noticed that one of the cap plugs in on the exhaust had shot out. The part number is 946780 but the problem is I can't get one until next week. I assume the part is metric but can find no description of the part other than name and number. Can anyone help me out with the size in mm or cm. I'd like to find one locally. Thanks in advance.

Re: Cap Plug Question.

Thanks a bunch Fun Times. I hope I can fond one on a Saturday because my crab traps have been in water for three days. I'm surprised the volvo part is listed as 1 1/8 inches and not metric. Again, thanks much.

Re: Cap Plug Question.

Bad news. 1 1/8 inch is too small by a tiny fraction. Now I need advise on how to remove a freeze plug.
