Hello all,

I'm new to the forum and was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a new capacity label for my Chieftain project. I live in Lake Havasu, Arizona and the local athorities are pretty sticky about these things. My Chieftain does not have a label anywhere that I can see. I would really appreciate any info I can get.

Thanks,
Steve

I like GarzonStudios they did great work on a 'plate' for a SeaNymph i no longer have. Super fast turn around.

But it is a vinyl sticker, not a plate. You could put it on an aluminum plate though. It will look a lot like the original foil backed sticker that was probably originally used.

If you can provide a hi-res image of a plate to a printing company, they can probably print an actual aluminum plate for you via sublimation. Ask aroumd at print/engraving/trophy shops @Havasu.

Heres 3 plates I had made w the Sublimation process:

:welcome: to the Starmada and iboats forum! I see you posted a pic of your Chief in the SC pics thread. She's really a looker!

So you need to start a resto thread here, it seems we have like 5 Chiefs going but no to rare activity on them. Guys seems to start the work then either loose interest or stop posting here and just disappear.

I can't tell from your pic, is your Chief an IO or OB?

It's the 120 hp Mercruiser I/O. Already replaced all the bellows and converted over to an electric fuel pump. Just want to get her out on the water this summer then continue on with the restore when it cools off (which means November or December around here). I'll try to start and update a post on here throughout the restore. 😉
