I am fixing up a 1965 Starcraft ?seafarer? 14? 2? tinny which had no capacity plate on it. I got one from Starcraft and was just wondering if I should screw the plate or glue (5200) it to the inside transom. Is there a specific place that it generally belongs? I am a rookie at this so any info is appreciated.

I would screw/rivet in it place. Using glue would it make quite difficult to remove if you or a future owner had to replace the transom.

There was evidence of my old plate on the transom. As you face the stern from inside the boat it was at the top right of the transom. Not too tight to the right or top. That is where I screwed in my new replica using SS screws.
