capri 15ft bowrider, transom question

May be a silly question but what is the transom depth of this boat?, its a 1985 and has a sequencial lift hull that has a flat keel and I cant seem to get a measurement that comes close to short or long

any help is gretaly appreciated

Are you trying to measure for a motor??? :confused:

Yes but I think I got it right its 19" and the motor I have is a short shaft so its out

Outboards are usually produced in three main lengths - 20, 25 & 30. So if you have a 19" transom then that short shaft ( 20 " ) motor will work just fine. Your main consideration is to have the cavitation plate of the motor as close to the level of the bottom of the hull. Put that puppy on there and take a look. :D

Motor is on the boat but the motor is a short shaft 16" from what I can measure , I cant seem to drop my picture quality enough to post them on here
